My name is Winnie DeGeer (she/her), and I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College
of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). I provide psychotherapy to children and adults in a
warm, supportive, and non-judgmental environment where you can feel comfortable being yourself.
Life can sometimes feel overwhelming. You may be experiencing anxiety that won't quiet down, feeling
emotionally exhausted, struggling with self-doubt, navigating relationship challenges, processing grief, or
simply feeling "stuck." Whatever has brought you here, you don't have to face it alone.
Growing up in a small town, I saw firsthand how difficult it could be to access mental health support. That experience inspired me to pursue a career where I could help others feel seen, supported, and understood.
My education has strengthened my understanding of how factors such as culture, socioeconomic circumstances, family systems, and life experiences can shape mental health. I strive to provide an inclusive and respectful space where every client feels welcome.
When I'm not in the therapy room, you'll usually find me listening to music on my record player, watching classics movies from 60's - 80s (I am always open to suggestions for what to watch next!), tending to my vegetable garden, or working on woodworking projects.
